Marker.io alternatives

Marker.io alternatives: 12 bug reporting tools compared

Marker.io is built to push bug reports into Jira, Linear, GitHub and other developer tools, and its Team plan adds session replay and console logs. There is no free plan, and several of the features teams choose it for sit on that higher tier.

This list covers 12 alternatives, including FeedbackHive, which we make. They are listed alphabetically, not ranked. Some are closer to Marker.io's developer focus, others to client feedback for agencies.

Prices and features checked on each vendor's own website on November 2, 2026. Tools are listed alphabetically, not ranked. FeedbackHive is our product.

Why teams look for a Marker.io alternative

No free plan

Marker.io offers a 15-day free trial, then paid plans only. Small teams that want to keep a free tier for side projects need another tool.

Developer features on Team

Session replay, console logs, network requests and the Jira integration are on the Team plan, several times the price of Starter.

Built around external trackers

Marker.io shines when reports go to an issue tracker. Teams that would rather keep feedback and tasks in one app may prefer a tool with its own task list.

Users counted on every plan

Starter includes three users and charges for each extra one. Reporters are free, but a growing team pays per person.

How to choose a Marker.io alternative

Where should reports end up?

If every bug must become a Jira or GitHub issue, shortlist tools with a two-way sync. If your team can work from the feedback tool itself, you have more options and lower prices.

How hard are your bugs to reproduce?

Console logs, network requests and session replays matter for web apps with complex state. Marketing sites and content reviews rarely need them.

Who reports the bugs?

Internal QA testers can install a browser extension. Clients and occasional reviewers are better served by a widget on the site that needs no account.

What does the full team cost?

Compare the price for your actual number of users, including the plan that has the features you need, not the entry plan alone.

Do you need AI and automation hooks?

Many tools now offer an MCP server so AI assistants can read and update reports. Check which plan includes it and whether it can write, not only read.

Test with real reporters

Use the free plan or trial on a live project, and ask a client or tester to file a few reports. Their experience matters as much as yours.

Marker.io alternatives: frequently asked questions

Is there a free alternative to Marker.io?

Yes. On this page, Atarim, FeedbackHive, Pastel, QualityHive, Ruttl, Userback, and Ybug have a free plan, each with its own limits. Marker.io itself offers a 15-day trial.

Which Marker.io alternatives integrate with Jira?

Atarim, BugHerd, Feedbucket, PageProofer, Pastel, Ruttl, Userback, Usersnap, and Ybug list a Jira integration on their own sites, sometimes on higher plans only. Check the plan before you count on it.

Which alternatives capture video or session replays?

BugHerd, Feedbucket, PageProofer, QualityHive, Userback, Usersnap, and Ybug list video feedback or session replay. Console logs and network requests are less common and often reserved for higher plans.

Is FeedbackHive a good Marker.io alternative?

For client feedback on websites, yes: it has a free plan, a lower entry price and its own task list. For developer debugging it is not: it has no Jira integration, console logs or session replay. If your developers live in Jira, Marker.io is likely the better fit.

Can I connect FeedbackHive to my own tools?

Yes, without ready-made integrations. On Pro, outbound webhooks send signed events when tasks or comments change, and on every plan the REST API and the MCP server let scripts and AI assistants read and update tasks.

How were these tools chosen and checked?

We included tools that people often weigh against Marker.io and that collect feedback or bug reports on live websites. Every price and feature comes from the vendor's own site, checked on November 2, 2026. When we could not confirm something, it is marked "Not listed".
