Google user data
When you connect your Google account to FeedbackHive, we access certain Google user data on your behalf. This section explains what we access, why, and how we handle it, in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google user data only to provide and improve the user-facing features described here, and for no other purpose.
Scopes we request
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.readonly: to list your calendars and read events so they appear inside FeedbackHive.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events: to create, update, and delete events you schedule from FeedbackHive tasks.
- openid and email: to identify you and link the integration to your FeedbackHive account.
How we use Google user data
- Display your selected calendars and events inside FeedbackHive's planning views.
- Create, update, or delete calendar events when you take actions in FeedbackHive that schedule them.
- Maintain the integration (refreshing tokens, syncing changes you initiate).
Limited Use disclosure
We use Google user data solely to provide and improve the user-facing features described above (the calendar integration). We do not use Google user data for advertising or marketing, to send promotional or product-update communications, for analytics, profiling, or personalization unrelated to the integration, to train or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, or for any purpose other than providing or improving these user-facing features, and we never sell it. The general 'How we use information' and 'How we share information' sections of this policy describe FeedbackHive's services as a whole and do not broaden how Google user data may be used. FeedbackHive's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically: we do not use Google user data to serve advertisements; we do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the integration, comply with applicable law, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets after obtaining your explicit prior consent; we do not allow humans to read Google user data unless we have your explicit consent, it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating abuse), to comply with applicable law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
Storage and security of Google user data
OAuth access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. Calendar event data is stored only to the extent needed to present it inside your workspace and to keep it in sync. You can disconnect the integration at any time from Settings → Integrations, which deletes our stored tokens and your synced calendar data from our systems. You can also revoke our access directly from your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Revoking access to Google user data
You can revoke FeedbackHive's access at any time by disconnecting in Settings → Integrations, or directly via your Google Account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
